What our HEATING ENGINEERS can do for you

    how-we-charge

Our heating engineers do a wide range of jobs on oil and gas boilers, and can help work out why your central heating or hot water isn't working. Please note we don't work with electrical boilers.

We work with local heating engineers.
Ready to go? Book your job today.

When you book a heating engineer through us, you don’t need to worry about asking about previous work or their experience. We’ve already done that.

All the heating engineers who work with us go through a rigorous vetting process, including visits of their previous works.

You should always use a professional heating engineer. Boilers and heating is complicated, and carrying out your own work on your boiler will invalidate your manufacturer warranty if something goes wrong.

    free-quotes

Our heating engineers are booked either as free quotes or at an estimated price.

An estimated price is an estimate of labour. It doesn’t include parts, parking charges, or any extra labour that may be needed. Your trade will discuss any price amendments with you and you’ll be asked to agree the amendment before any work goes ahead.

We always try to offer estimated prices, but in some cases our heating engineers need to see the problem at your property before giving you a quote.

Do I have an oil or gas boiler?

Generally, if you live in a big town or city, it’s most likely you have a gas boiler. However, if you live off the gas grid, which is more common in rural areas, you may have an oil boiler. An oil boiler is filled by a heating oil tank, which will be outside your property. Sometimes heating oil tanks are underground.

    Do you deal with emergencies?

Currently Home Solutions doesn’t deal with home emergencies. This might change in the future. We define emergencies as an issue where you need someone to come to your property as soon as possible. Issues such as gas leaks, or flooding, would be considered emergencies. See who to contact in an emergency in our FAQs.
